Who we are

RTC is a registered NGO established in 2019 in Kapchorwa District, Eastern Uganda to mobilize resources and implement strategic community development initiatives pitched towards improving the standards of living among socio-economic communities through multi-sectoral interventions for sustainable development in sectors of Health, Environment and Education.

Our Programs

RTC advocates for more access to affordable essential medicines for the poor and vulnerable people in East and North Eastern Uganda through increased public and community participation at different levels of decision making in medicine policy formulation,
Biodiversity
Biodiversity is the backbone of our sphere and it’s vital to alter our actions and beliefs to end and reverse its decline. RTC uses communication, education, culture, and information to nurture mutual understanding and esteem for the environment.
Education Advocacy
In education, we support socio-economic societies to help thousands of children across the region learn to read and attain essential life skills. In partnership with local CSO’s, we develop a series of case studies scrutinizing the extent to which early childhood development polices and services
Energy Access
We collaborate and partner with local conservation groups, other partners and local governments to improve energy access to thousands of households and businesses. We continue to work with of a range of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and private sectors,
Governance and Economic Development
Together with local governments, policy makers and citizens; through collaboration, learning and adaptation, governance, accountability, and participation, we work on establishing evidence-based universal morals and finding resolutions to a range of social, economic and environmental challenges.
Cultural Diversity and Heritage
We believe that diversity makes society stronger in every phase. We adopt and implement strategies that enable affirmative intercultural encounters and exchanges, and promote equal and active participation of residents and communities in the development of their societies.
