Programs

PRTC works in East and North Eastern Uganda providing institutional consolidation, technical support, program support, and research. We design and implement programs across an inclusive scope of sectors to help socio-economic societies and communities address multifaceted difficulties and improve the lives of their citizens. Working with stakeholders and partners, our solutions promote sustainability, inclusivity, respect, self-reliance, and accomplishment at scale.

Health
RTC advocates for more access to affordable essential medicines for the poor and vulnerable people in East and North Eastern Uganda through increased public and community participation at different levels of decision making in medicine policy formulation,
Biodiversity
Biodiversity is the backbone of our sphere and it’s vital to alter our actions and beliefs to end and reverse its decline. RTC uses communication, education, culture, and information to nurture mutual understanding and esteem for the environment.
Education Advocacy
In education, we support socio-economic societies to help thousands of children across the region learn to read and attain essential life skills. In partnership with local CSO’s, we develop a series of case studies scrutinizing the extent to which early childhood development polices and services
Energy Access
We collaborate and partner with local conservation groups, other partners and local governments to improve energy access to thousands of households and businesses. We continue to work with of a range of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and private sectors,
Economic Empowerment & Ending Poverty

Together with local institutions, structures, partners, stakeholders, policy makers and citizens; through collaboration, learning and adaptation, accountability, and participation, we work on establishing evidence-based universal morals and finding resolutions to a range of social, economic and environmental challenges.
From enlightening economic performance and creating efforts to promote strong education and fighting traditional misconceptions, we provide a unique forum and knowledge hub for statistics and investigations, exchange of experiences, best-practice involvement, and advice on participatory economic transformation and local standard-setting.
We support to strengthen local market systems with the aim of improving community service delivery for all irrespective of your gender, race, status, religion and color among others.

Cultural Diversity and Heritage
We believe that diversity makes society stronger in every phase. We adopt and implement strategies that enable affirmative intercultural encounters and exchanges, and promote equal and active participation of residents and communities in the development of their societies.
